Cyprus Rally 2017

The Cyprus Rally will be held for the 46th time, and for decades, it has thrilled both fans and competitors and it shall do so once again!

The rally will be held on a mixed surface (dirt and tarmac), something which was pioneered by the Cyprus rally back in 2009. The main difference between this year’s Cyprus Rally and last year’s is that the event has been transferred from its October slot to mid-June.

Like last year, the HQ will be based at the Filoxenia Conference Centre, while the Service Park will be situated on Evangelos Florakis street in Nicosia, right next to the Police Headquarters.

The Ceremonial Start will be held on Friday evening on the beachfront of Foinikoudes in Larnaca with the action running on Saturday and Sunday. Nicosia will host the CNP AFALISTIKI Super Special Stage once again. This year the stage will be run not just once, but twice! On Sunday, the remaining crews will have the chance of claiming the cash prizes on offer through the Golden Stage which will be the final two stages of the rally. This year’s Ceremonial Finish will take place at the port of the tourist resort city of Ayia Napa that bustles with life during the summer days.
