Cyprus Youth Symphony Orchestra's Music Workshop
The Cyprus Youth Symphony Orchestra’s Music Workshop proudly presents its 2nd annual concert, on Sunday 25 May 2014 at 20:00 at Pallas Theatre, Paphos Gate, Nicosia. The concert will be held under the auspices of the Minister of Education and Culture Mr. Costas Kadis.
Students who excelled will perform a diverse repertoire, which comprises works for solo instruments and chamber ensembles.
The Music Workshop focuses on children and young people with special musical abilities and talent, offering them scholarships for specialized and high level training by top rank tutors on every instrument of a symphony orchestra. Following an advanced and well-structured methology, the Music Workshop is today the leading educational program for music performance in Cyprus.
The project is directed by Yiorgos Kountouris, the Artistic Director and Chief Conductor of the Cyprus Youth Symphony Orchestra.
