Dalika Dance Theatre
NOBLE ESCAPE
Noble Escape deals with the subject of the need for love and companionship in a world where most of us are afraid or even ashamed to admit the fact that the loss of these feelings can lead someone to desperation. And the reason is that above all comes the ego
In an effort to emphasise the importance of these needs in our life we use as a canvass the environment of two homeless people who manage to overcome their daily struggle for survival and to focus on the joy and enjoyment of a friendly relationship as well as to the few moments in life where people feel complete..
Our basic interest is to develop a ‘conversation' with the audience, posing questions on simple issues that we believe they would concern -almost- every human being, in a way that feelings are by no means dragged out.

Production Dalika Dance Theater 2008
Dalika Dance Theater was formed, in 2004, by dancer-choreographer Vasso Yiannakopoulou and light designer Tassos Paleoroutas.
Our main goal is to create performances focusing on dancing, while at the same time using theatrical devices, in an attempt to give to the audience, apart from a spectacle, a way to help them interpret facets of human behaviour and culture.
Our wish is to present the story of the play in a way, that the abstract character of the language of dance will not alienate the audience from the core of the main idea.
Our aim is to focus on the essential matters, facing dance as a means of expression and narration rather than a given form.
Our basic interest is to develop a ‘conversation' with the audience, posing questions on simple issues that we believe they would concern -almost- every human being, in a way that feelings are by no means dragged out.
Since its establishment, the company has presented four productions: "Digono" (2005), " Fyllo kai Dalika Dance Theatre is subsidized by the Ministry of Culture of Greece.
This performance is part of the 12th European Dance Festival. You can buy a General Entrance card for all the performances of the festival in Rialto for €20. Admission free for students and dance professionals.
