Decorated Bread Exhibition
The Decorated Bread Exhibition will be inaugurated by the Mayor of Nicosia on Monday 24th of September at 19:00 and will remain open until the 12th of October.

Exhibition, 9 am - 7pm
Dozens of replicas of traditional Cyprus decorated bread shall be exhibited, prepared by the author/researcher Dorita Voskaridou for the museum "To Ploumisto Psomi" (Limassol).
Monday, 24 September
Opening, 7 pm
Exhibition opening by Nicosia Mayor, announcement of the programme of the events, short review of the Museum's history.
Thursday, 27 September
Symposium, 7 pm
The Bread: Lectures covering the role of bread in tradition, culture, nutrition and ritual. Greek.
Saturday, 29 September
Poetry, 5 pm
Your name: Bread on the table. Tribute to Nikiforos Vrettakos, the poet to whom the current year 2012 has been devoted. Event within the frame of the world move of 100.000 poets for change. Greek.
Thursday, 4 October
Tasting, 7 pm
Guess what (Pes alevri)
Presentation and tasting of the variety of local traditional and Greek bakery. Singing: by Pavlina Constantopoulou.
Saturday, 6 October
Kids workshop, 10 am — 6 pm
Koulouria having fun!
Shadow theatre, dramatized story telling, bread decoration workshop, and other bakery surprises.
Monday, 8 October
Performance, 8:30 pm
Words out of a trough
A trip around Europe through dramatized myths and legends on the occasion of the adoption of "Limassol Declaration".
