The Diary of a Mad at Imagination
Soul Imprints through the Diary of a Mad at Imagination
In his first book, “Apotypomata Psihis” (“Soul Imprints”), a book full with real Soul traces, Andreas Ioannou has managed to achieve something that few writers may be able to do. He touched deep inside our souls in order to reveal our sensitiveness for life, for ourselves and our fellow human beings.
But this was just the beginning. After the success of his first book, Andreas Ioannou returned with his second book “Soul Imprints”, with 50 true stories and now he is back again to surprise us with even more “Soul Imprints”, with his third book “To Imerologio Enos Kata Fantasia Trelou” (“The Diary of a Mad at Imaginaton”).
By letting of considerations and feelings, Andreas Ioannou uses his unique genuine writing style once again and prepares us for a magnificent journey to new life paths, in a magical world full of surprises, adventure and many unexpected emotional moments.
The sensitivity and the persistent approach of truth are pervasive elements which characterizes his books. Elements essential for such a new and promising writer of the 21st century like Andreas Ioannou, who will certainly continue to serve the Greek Literature and not only.
Andreas Ioannou is one of the few Cypriot writers that still have a sensitive and revolutionary personality. This is emerged clearly both from his beneficial existential concerns and from human worries. Concerns and considerations that are written in detail, word by word in his book, leaving at the end a sweet taste of hope and optimism, like a magnificent cocktail that contains a combination of joy and happiness.
Also, it is not coincidence that the writer’s second book, “Apotypomata Psihis – 2 “was chosen by the “Cyprus Ministry of Education and Culture” to compete for the “Writer of the Year 2011” Award.
From Andreas Ioannou we will expect much more spiritual diamonds from his endless collections in the coming future.
