Die Thomaner
A fascinating documentary about the world famous Leipzig "Thomaner-Choir", which in 2012 celebrates its 800th year of existence! The film shows how the choir managed to keep up its traditions throughout all political systems and upheavals. Today, the "Thomaner" are celebrated at their concerts all over the world. In America, Japan and Australia they are treated like Rockstars. Shown are their concerts and rehearsals, but also their private lives as normal school boys and they themselves talk about what it means to be member of a worldwide celebrated boys choir.
