Dinosaurs of the Ocean

15 different kinds of robotic monsters, in real sizes (up to 16 meters long) come Cyprus.

Get ready for an adventure in the depths of the ocean. An experience like no other!

Three years after the impressive "Living Dinosaurs" exhibition, which fascinated and impressed thousands of visitors, dinosaurs return to Cyprus.

The exhibition is presented in Cyprus by Hellenic Bank.

This time in a different version, we will see, get to know and hear the "Dinosaurs of the Ocean". These are the sea dinosaurs and other monsters that swam in the Asian and Pacific seas millions of years ago.

"Ocean Dinosaurs" is an interactive, educational and entertainment exhibition that is aimed at individuals of all ages from young children and students to grandparents and those interested in the evolution of marine life from the prehistoric period to the present day.

The exhibition hosts 15 different types of robotic monsters in real sizes (up to 16 meters long). With their movements, colors, textures and sounds, they will give us unique moments from the "real life" of these huge dinosaurs of the sea.

Thanks to the Japanese engineering of animatronics, a playful and at the same time instructive walk has been created between the powerful marine creatures that once ruled the depths of the oceans.

Visitors will have the opportunity to discover how surprising the ancient world of the oceans is and discover the similarities and differences between modern marine animals and their ancestors, as well as the similarities and differences between terrestrial and aquatic dinosaurs.

The "Ocean Dinosaurs" were created by the Argentine paleontologists Dr. Sebastian Asengeguy and Dr. Adrian Giacchino.

The exhibition will be for the first time in Cyprus from 26 January to 7 April 2019 at the Cyprus International Fair (Pavilion 3).

The exhibition is under the auspices of the Minister of Education and Culture, Dr. Kostas Chambiaouris.
