The exhibition is an archaeological, historical and artistic journey in nine ancient scripts of the Mediterranean that have formed the European culture and civilisation. It records and displays in a easy and readable manner the most important scripts of the Mediterranean: Cuneiform, Hieroglyphics, Linears A and B of the Aegean, Phoenician, Greek and Latin; It focuses particularly on the ancient Cypriot scripts: Cypro-Minoan and the Cypriot Syllabary, a important proof that the Greek language and script exist on the island since the 11th century BC.
