Screening of “Division of Cyprus” at 19:00, at the Home for Cooperation, Nicosia (UN Buffer Zone, opposite Ledra Palace hotel).
Followed by an open discussion, facilitated by the film’s director Andreas Apostolides, with Professors Harry Tzimitras & Ayhan Aktar (Bilgi University) and other guests. A cocktail reception will follow.
The screening is organized by the Association for Historical Dialogue and Research (AHDR) and the Cyprus Community Media Centre (CCMC), to mark the opening of the multimedia exhibition ‘Twice A Stranger’ in Nicosia.
The film is in Turkish, Greek and English with English subtitles.
The discussion will be held in English. Simultaneous translation in Turkish and Greek will be available for the discussion hosted at the Home for Cooperation.
