A Double Feature

An evening of live music with two groups. The evening entitled "A Double Feature" includes appearances by the bands WITHOUT-I and ScarletSnowPrelude in their maiden appearance in Nicosia.

WITHOUT-i LIVE - Christopher Malapitan (guitar), Seth Mehl (keys), Julien Miri (bass, vox) and Robert diFulvio (drums). Among the many influences the band has, their sound is derived from the groove based rock of the Stones, 70’s French pop a la Gainsbourg, the surf guitar sound of the 60’s , the dark heavy rock of Alice in Chains, injected with dance synth arpeggios and pads. The result is a dark melodic electronic rock with groove and dynamics. The strong imagery of the lyrical content is accompanied by visuals conceived by various video artists. ScarletSnowPrelude are an experimental post-rock band that combines ferocious chords alongside hard-hitting electronic beats and harmonious vocals. Having just returned from a gig in Austria, supporting top Cypriot thrash metal band Blynd, this will be their final show before the quartet head into hibernation to complete their upcoming debut EP. Scheduled for release this summer, it highlights the evolution and change their music has taken over the course of several years.
