Dragon Boat Fun Race Challenge
The Cyprus Dragon Boat Association and the Funraising Association along with Rotaract Berengaria Cosmopolitan Club are organizing a charity event to benefit Funraising's families.
Dragon Boat events are done in festive atmosphere, with music, and feels more like celebration than sports competition ! Teams of 16-20 paddlers plus a drummer are racing in Open and in Mixed Category at the distance of 200m. Goal, everyone to have fun, race and compete while raising funds for a good cause!
Anyone over age of 12 can take part, provided they can swim. Teams shall complete 2 hrs training before the event. Trainings cost €5pphr. Cost of participantion in the event is €20 per person- €400 for corporate teams. Teams shall have their one drummer. Drummer pays no fee. Companies can be advertised on their crews uniforms and on their tents that they will set up at the beach.
Deadline for teams registration: 11 July.
Captains meeting: 19 July at 20:00 at NOA.
