The Echo of Silence (Mediterranean Trio)
The Mediterranean Trio was created on the occasion of the“Cyprus Spring 2014” organised by the Embassy of Cyprus in Germany, and recently performed with great success at the Gasteig Theatre in Munich. The three musicians build upon different musical experiences from the field of classical music, jazz, pop and traditional music, offering an impressive fusion of styles and genres. This unique chamber music ensemble develops a very interesting interaction between traditional and modern, proposing a new aesthetic approach to contemporary music. In their concert at the Axiothea Mansion, the Mediterranean Trio will present a wide range of works for violin, saxophone and piano. The programme includes works by Daniel Alcheh, Phanos Dymiotis, Giorgos Karvellos, Inna Koutroupi, Nikos Kypourgos, Stavros Lantsias, Marina Panagiotou, Miltiades Papastamou and Savvas Savva.
