Eleni Tsaligopoulou - Trifono

Eleni Tsaligopoulou this year celebrates 20 years in the music industry and begins her winter tour from Cyprus with two performances at the RED Music Stage on 11 and 12 of February

Eleni Tsaligopoulou was born in Naoussa, a small town of northern Greece. She used to sing at her father’s tavern as a teenager. She went to Thessaloniki and started performing professionally in early 80s. Composer Giorgos Zikas heard her and composed her first L.P. “Sopa ki Akouse” (“Be Silent and Listen”), featuring famous George Dalaras. Since then, she has had a successful career, with lots of songs and a variety of genres, ranging from old greek folk songs to a newer, pop style.

Together with Eleni Tsaligopoulou, the group Trifono, composed by Erofili, Nikos Kouroupakis and Dimitris Yfantis.
