En Voyage: Photography Exhibition by Polys Pulcherios

Polys Pulcherios presents a series of travel photographs from photographic wanderings in Cyprus and abroad. All photographs were shot on film. This is his first solo exhibition. Polys captures simple, everyday life moments in his own way. Street scenes, expressive portraits full of colour, still life. Architectural details are strongly evident in his images. His landscapes, both in black and white and colour, offer the viewer a unique serenity, showcasing Poly’s personal viewpoint on life.

Artist's Bio:
Polys Pulcherios was born in Nicosia in 1959 and studied Economics in London and Insurance studies in Kent. He worked in the insurance sector up to 1997, after which he studied Photographic Technique at the London College of Printing and attended Art Photography seminars in Greece and Cyprus. From 2000 until 2012 he worked as a professional photographer, and then returned to the insurance sector. He took part in group exhibitions in London, Athens, Prague, and in Cyprus. He is a founding member of “Fotodos”.
