Epi Hrimasi
The PanCyprian Association for Psychotherapists supports the presentation of Costas Mannouris’ comedy, Epi hrimasi.
The hero is before his psychoanalyst. He wants to speak and also withhold some crucial information about himself. The play outlines, in a truly comedic spirit, a rich and challenged psychological landscape which is private and collective, strange and familiar. The hero finds convenient refuge in the stories of others, consistently avoiding to tell his. Until a crack in the wall allows the light and the truth to permeate. What resembles defeat, is in essence the prelude of a personal victory. The text follows the path from denial to acceptance, and from fear to hope.
