Fengaros Festival 2016

The much-anticipated Fengaros Festival, οne of the leading summer festivals of the island, returns for another year! The festival’s three stages will host more than thirty acts, while parallel events will enrich this musical weekend in the village of Kato Drys, in the Larnaka District.

This year’s line-up surpasses all previous editions since it will include even bigger names from the international music scene, such as the English soul-diva Joss Stone, the experimental rockers Electric Litany and Adam Beattie with his full band. On the 1st day Pavlos Pavlidis and B-Movies will take the stage, only to be followed by Boom Pam from Israel, who call their music Mediterranean Surf Rock. Also traveling from Greece, is violinist / singer Fotis Siotas’ new band called Sotires which features an impressive lineup, the pop-rockers Super Stereo and the The Noise Figures. The rock-trio The Low Spark, The Ladderman from Larnaca and Rumba Attack are some of the many Cypriot acts which will grace the festival’s Main Stage.

On Friday, The Village Stage will host Harris Lambrakis Quartet, and lute virtuoso Giorgis Manolakis from Crete with Spyridakis and Papatzanis, while Larry Gus will headline Saturday. Sunday will be headlined by the folk / blues Moa Bones and folk songstress Brooke Sharkey from England. From Cyprus, Sandy Brour will be performing songs from their newly-released album, among others.

Louvana Records is once again teaming up with Alternative Brains Rule who will be in charge of the (open to the public) ABR Stage, presenting djs, local acts, radio interviews, in a chilled out atmosphere.

Accommodation
Free camping space with showers and toilets. The campsite will ONLY BE OPEN to Fengaros Festival ticket possessors. Trespassers with no tickets will NOT BE ALLOWED ENTRY TO THE CAMPSITE. Agrotouristic lodges will be available at Kato Drys and the surrounding villages (Lefkara, Vavla, Vavatsinia, Skarinou, Choirokitia etc).
