Film Art of the 60s, 70s & 80s
The Pantheon Gallery invites you to the opening of a private collection exhibition of Andre Ptohopoulos entitled “Film Art of the 60s, 70s & 80s”.
Film Art can be described as classic and rare film posters from around the world, which tends to give emphasis on extraordinary films and exceptional, original designs.
For the past 15 years, Andre Ptohopoulos has been carefully collecting and thus selected an inexhaustible number of film posters (named film art). Although his collection ranges in and out of different eras, the collector has decided to exhibit a selection of 25 pieces which derive from the 60s, 70s and 80s. These are predominantly films of the US cinema and represent both classic and cult movies. Some of these will include film art from directors such as Sergio Leone, Martin Scorsese and Stanley Kubrick and actors like Steve Mcqueen and Jack Nicholson.
All collectibles will be for sale.
