Flamenco Spices
The European Capital of Culture - PAFOS2017 presents a Community Countdown event and hosts the expressive manifestation of emotions filled with colour and the original rhythms of Andalusia, known worldwide as Flamenco.
This event of the community programme "Hidden Places in Pafos" brings the fiery rhythms of Flamenco to the Gardens of Pafos2017 with the show “Flamenco Spices” on Saturday evening, September 26 at 20:00.
Five solo artists unite their passion for Flamenco through the art of music, song and dance, uniting colourful sounds with the sensual moves of Flamenco. John Papagianoulis on percussion, Panos Kartimpelis on guitar, song by Yiota Baron and dancers Electra Chrysanthou and Andreas Aspromalis, compose a fantastic repertoire of Flamenco compositions.
The Flamenco is a style of song with guitar variations and dance sequences that reflect the complex soul of Andalusia. Arab, oriental and gypsy Flamenco influences have combined to create this unique sound and enchanting dance.
An exceptional event offered to the citizens of the city by the European Capital of Culture – Pafos2017.
