ΦουσκόPolis - Activating Public Spaces
Urban Gorillas in partnership with Berlin-based Plastique Fantastique and the Architecture Research Centre (ARC) of the University of Nicosia and Dendros Ltd. announce their upcoming festival ΦουσκοPolis.
The innovative street festival will bring a series of temporary architecture installations in the form of giant inflatables to public spaces all over Cyprus. The inflatables will host a diverse programme of local and international artists and community activities that were selected from an Open Call that ran earlier in the year.
ΦουσκόPolis invites the participation of the public and passers-by to get involved and experience their city from a new perspective.
ΦουσκοPolis is a grassroots initiative by the multidisciplinary Urban Gorillas team and their collaborators. The project benefits from a grant from Iceland, Liechstenstein and Norway through the EEA Grants / Norway Grants.
