The French Institute of Cyprus has the pleasure to invite you to a concert violon – piano with Frédéric Pélassy (violon), and Jean-Bernard Hupmann (piano).
Frédéric Pelassy is considered one of the most prominent musicians of his generation. A child prodigy distinguished by Yehudi Menuhin at an early age, he has recorded some thirty CDs to date and given hundreds of concerts on the five continents.
Born in 1961, the pianist Jean-Bernard Hupmann has performed in many countries throughout the world as recitalist, concerto soloist and chamber musician. This brilliant virtuoso is praised for the warmth of his playing, the fluency of phrasing, delicacy of touch, perfect technical mastery and musical sensitivity.
