The Gate in the path of time, art and music
Following last June’s exhibitions and book presentations, the Nicosia Municipality is organizing an event in the honour of people that led the way for converting the Famagusta Gate to a Nicosia Municiplaity Cultural Centre.
With the opportunity, a 25 minute concert will take place, with Cypriot and Cretan musicians performing. Songs and passages that bring together the two islands will be presented, with the event running under the title “Gate in the path of time, art and music”.
An art exhibition with works by George A. Constantinou under the title “Unknown time: Within the Gate” will also be open between 22 September and 27 September, 10:00-13:00, 17:00-20:00 on weekdays and 11:00-13:00 on Saturdays.
