Geomythology - Climate Changes - Floods
The Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation invites to the 7th lecture titled
Geomythology - Climate Changes - Floods
Geomythology is a branch of the Geosciences, dealing with the physical-geological conditions prevailing during the mythological era. It explores the interrelation between Geology and Mythology with the aim to find the geological interpretation of mythology. The investigation and analysis of ancient myths provide valuable information and knowledge about climate changes and floods, which are preserved under a mythical wrap in the traditions of peoples, but also on unknown ancient geological and natural disasters.
