German Christmas Fayre
As in previous years the Cypriot-German Cultural Association organizes the traditional German Christmas Fayre on Sunday, 29th November 2015 between 4-8p.m. at the Goethe-Institut in Nicosia, within the scope of the “Month of the German Language”.
Traditional Christmas treats like Lebkuchen and Stollen brought directly from Germany will be available at the event at affordable prices. Visitors will also find a huge variety of special, handmade gifts and traditional German Christmas ornaments.
Accompanied by live music from the Windcraft Band and German Christmas songs, everyone is invited to enjoy German sausages, tasty waffles, the well-known Glühwein (mulled wine), different kinds of German beer and many other delicacies that will be offered by different suppliers.
The Cypriot-German Cultural Association will ensure that our young friends will have a great time creating Christmas ornaments and other handicrafts and receiving small gifts from Santa Claus.
The annual German Christmas Fayre is a charity event and this year’s proceeds will be donated to the Strovolos Multifunctional Foundation.
The event is supported by the Goethe-Institut Nicosia.
