Giacomo Puccini "Messa di Gloria"
Following their success at Vienna’s prestigious Stephansdom, Basilique du Sacré-Cœur in Marseille, Église de la Madeleine in Paris, and Panos Solomonides Cultural Centre in Limassol, the Cyprus Academy of Music presents anew Giacomo Puccini's masterwork Messa di Gloria at the Presidential Palace in Nicosia on Wednesday April 20, 2016 at 8:30pm.
Maestro Yiannis Hadjiloizou and Cyprus Red Cross Ambassador conducts the 60-member Orphean Singers Cyprus, 20 members of the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra, Marseille Tenor Jean Christophe Born, and Cypriot Star Baritone George Ioannou.
Net surpluses will be donated to the Cyprus Red Cross.
The concert will be held under the auspices of Mrs Andri Anastasiadou, wife of the President of the Republic of Cyprus.
A reception will follow, compliments of Domain Dafermou. Please present your ID in order to enter the Presidential Palace the evening of the concert.
