Savino Live Music Venue is proud to present Oregon born and bred rock/ blues musician Gil Edwards for one night only on the 29th of October 2011.

This unique night will include both covers and original material from the artist, ranging from the likes of the Rolling Stones to Bob Dylan and Lynyrd Skynyrd.

The gig will start at 23:30 and tickets are priced at only €10.

Taking a break from his various collaborations and projects, Gil is travelling all the way from Norway to grace the island with some hardedged acoustic rock & blues. This extraordinary musician is capable of captivating his audience simply by a strum of his acoustic guitar or a howl of his out worldly voice – at least this is what anyone who has seen him perform live had to say. This outstanding musical talent that bares the name Gil Edwards carries decades of experience, both solo and with bands, playing over 200 shows per year. Gil has released and participated on various albums with his personal debut album having sold over 8000 copies and Volkswagen using the song “Man in Trouble” for their TV campaign in 2000. To attempt to describe the mesmerizing effect of seeing Gil perform live is but a trivialization.
People should treat themselves to a night out to indulge in the rougher side of American country/ blues/ rock music from the master himself and be assured that they will get their money’s worth…and much more.
