Gilad Ephrat String Ensemble
Rainbow of Sounds and Strings.
Gilad Ephrat who is also a composer and a double bass player is the visionary and creator of the ensemble. Through a new approach to string ensemble performance, the four musicians take their instruments (violin, mandolin, cello, double bass) to the limits of their physical abilities, thereby unveiling the fascinating potential of strings. The unique dialogue among the instruments exchanging roles of melody and accompaniment gives birth to exciting ensemble playing, that sweeps the listener into a new world of captivating sounds.
