ANANAs 8Bit Coffee presents the Gilad Ephrat String Ensemble, for a single performance on Sunday the 04th of October 2015.
Gilad Ephrat, composer and double bass player is the visionary creator of the ensemble. Through a new approach to string ensemble performance, four musicians take their instruments (violin, mandolin, cello, double bass) to the limits of their physical abilities, thereby unveiling the fascinating potential of strings.
The unique dialogue among the instruments exchanging roles of melody and accompaniment gives birth to exciting ensemble playing, that sweeps the listener into a new world of captivating sounds.
