THE CYPRUS SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA EDUCATIONAL ENSEMBLE
The recently founded ensemble of the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra was created in order to further reinforce the educational and family concerts as well as the Community Outreach concerts.
When increasing the number of educational and family concerts, more children are given the opportunity to come closer to the magical world of music and acquire the necessary skills to become the future audiences of the orchestra and not only.
During the artistic season from September 2012 – July 2013, the ensemble will present four productions, three of which will be family and educationally oriented and one will be a Community Outreach programme. These productions will cover children’s ages from early childhood to high-school and even more communities in Cyprus will be given the opportunity to experience concerts through the Outreach programme. This artistic period of the ensemble’s productions is called “The musical clef”.
