Harmonize: A mixed media exhibition by Ivana Aresti
Currently residing in Nicosia, Ivana Aresti is a Yugoslavian born artist with a Fine Arts degree from Nottingham Trent University, England.
While Ivana's deceptively minimal mixed media works draw inspiration mainly from nature, a nature in unity, unharmed, eternal, one cannot but notice the underlying existential concerns and a desire to connect, to belong, to co-exist in harmony. In Ivana's work, the "poetic mystery of life" is paralleled with the palpable magnificence of all things breathing in an attempt to remind us that all is, in the end, one.
