Helena Hadjioannou presents her new work in her solo exhibition of paintings with the title "Pathways" at Gallery Kypriaki Gonia from 6th of May until 23/05/216. Opening by Chairman of Pyla Council Mr. Simos Mytides on Friday 6/05/2016 at 8.00 p.m.
Helena Hadjioannou Studied at St. Martins school of art London 1991-1996. Helena presents her 6th solo exhibitions and has participated in many group exhibitions.
Artist comments:
The inspiration for this work comes from a love of walking and observing the natural phenomena around me. It is not a literal account of a particular place but an invitation for the viewer to join me on a Pathways, for a journey of expressive emotion. The interaction with Paint and Colour are the tools which enable me to reach and to express boundless areas of our humanity. I find that it is possible for me when i am walking in nature, to lose myself in the moment, so it is the same when I am back in the studio getting into dialogue with a piece of work.
