House of Heaven I
House of Heaven I, the latest creation of Cyprus-based choreographer Milena Ugren Koulas, will be premiered on 21st of January 2012 at the Dance House Lemesos. Further performances will take place on the 28th of January and 4th and 11th of February, presenting two performances each night (20.30 and 21.30).
House of Heaven I is a solo dance performance which questions the destiny of unmarried women in medieval times, who were forced to spend their time waiting for a rescuer kneeling down.
Ugren Koulas plays with the inner-and the outer world of thoughts and representation, researching about shifts of illusionary states of mind and naked reality.
