Human Rights Education for Children

The Commissioner for Children´s Rights announces the organizing of a summer workshop for children on "Human Rights Education for Children." By participating in the workshop, children will be informed and sensitized on Human Rights, and in particular on the Rights of the Child, and also they will have the opportunity to contribute to the Office´s work through voluntary work.

The workshop will be held the week July 4 - July 8, 2011. The program is aimed at 20 children aged 12 to 14 years and adolescents aged 15 to 17 years and runs from 9:00 to 14:00 daily. Children will be offered small meals during breaks. All children who attend the summer workshop will be given a certificate of participation.

Children are asked to indicate their name, their age, their home address and phone of their parents / guardians. Noted that their parent will have the responsibility for transporting children to and from the Office of the Commissioner.
