Idealistic Pictures - Amir Tahmashi
Apocalypse Gallery opens the new season with the painting exhibition "Idealistic Pictures" by Amir Tahmashi.
Amir was born in Iran in 1972, studied at the Tehran University of Fine Arts, where later, from 2005 to 2012, he taught at the same university.
His work was honored in his country in 1993 and 1999 and in 2007 was chosen for the contemporary art biennale from the Tehran Museum.
He has exhibited his work in Uzbekistan in 1996, Russia, China, Serbia, Austria, Cyprus, Albania and Armenia.
Amir Tahmashi has visited Cyprus many times and has created many relationships with people in our country. This is his second exhibition in Nicosia. The exhibition will present 35 works with acrylic, quash and watercolor.
The exhibition opens on Thursday, 20th of September at 20:00.
