In Search of Common Myth
In Search of Common Myth is the first part of 2-year-period international exchange project between Pafos (Cyprus) and Leeuwarden (The Netherlands). 8 artists (4 from Cyprus/4 from the Netherlands) rediscover, reinterpret and recreate “myths” of Pafos. The artists have created unique works through their research in historical and modern Pafos and contacts with its local residents. The exhibition “In Search of Common Myth” which opens on 6th December will display the results of not only artists’ investigation and interactions with local history, knowledge and people but also the artistic imagination which is intertwined with their works.
