Intensive Voice Workshop

Intensive Voice Workshop with Rinio Kyriazi organized by Eidekanou Theatre Group with the Support of Ministry of Education & Culture, Cultural Services

Eidekanou Theatre in cooperation with Rinio Kyriazi, organizes an intensive voice workshop between 8 and 13 of September (total duration 24 hours). The workshop appeals to professional actors, singers, teachers, journalists and any others who regularly use their voices in their work or just need to deepen their voice as a means of expression.

Riniko Kyriazi is an actress living in Athens. She is the main heir of the famous voice teacher Mirka Gementzaki. For the stage play "Feugousa Kori" directed by M. Gementzaki in 2007, Rinio Kyriazi was a nominee for the Melina Mercouri award for the best female performance of that year. In her voice teaching, Rinio Kyriazi combines the method of her teacher with the methods of Kristin Linklater and Roy Hart, proposing a personal mode of practicing the voice.

The workshop will be held in Greek.

The Intensive Voice Workshop is designed for a small group of participants. For the best organisation of the workshop, we accept entries until Friday 28 August. Participation costs should be paid until Friday 4 September.
