Jazz and Beyond Trio
European jazz beyond the predictable and the expected with influences from different cultures, experimental improvisations and a special emphasis on the sound.
Three outstanding musicians with notable individual careers – Hub Hildenbrand from Berlin on the guitar, Gabriel Karapatakis on the bass and George Koulas on the drums – meet again after almost 14 years, having studied and played together in the Rotterdam Conservatory.
A recent meeting in Berlin inspired them to get together on stage once again since it turned out that after so many years they had even more in common than before.
In a unique musical encounter, the three friends will present and elaborate on their own compositions, while expanding their musical boundaries.
