JazzyBrunch - 4aHead Quartet

Following the triumphant success of the Limassol Jazz Festival, the award-winning Londa Hotel in collaboration with FluffyFish Productions launch the ‘Londa Jazz Series’.

On Sunday 6 February, the launch is headlined by acclaimed 4aHead, a quartet of headlining jazz instrumentalists will kick off the series from 1.30pm – 3.30pm at €35,00 per person, including a mouth-watering lunchtime buffet. Eat, drink and be merry as ‘JazzyBrunch’ returns to the Caprice Restaurant.

From February through to May, the Caprice restaurant will feature some of the finest local and international jazz musicians as its delicious buffet lunch is served accompanied by standard, swing, ethnic and International style, easy listening jazz sounds. On the first Sunday of every month (except March when it will take place on the second Sunday), guests can enjoy a different genre of jazz as they indulge in a leisurely lunch in the cool Italian styled interior of the Londa’s award-winning restaurant, flanked by the tranquil blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea.

Londa’s General Manager, Jochen Niemann explained “After the great success of the jazz events we hosted during November’s Limassol Jazz Festival, it was clear our guests wanted even more JazzyBrunchnes …we are sure that with the star studded line up scheduled in our ‘Londa Jazz Series’, our guests will be just as delighted…”

4aHead, is a local and powerfully talented group comprised of Houvartas/Krasidis/Koulas/Koullouras who are considered to be among the best current jazz instrumentalists on tour in the region. The Group will kick off the season, “performing especially for the Londa, presenting various highly contagious improvisational jazz styles with undertones of world, Latin, funk, bossa nova and swing jazz.” 4aHead is Savvas Houvartas-Guitar-Vocals, George Krasidis-Saxophone-Clarinet, George Koulas-Percussions-Vocals and Irenaeos Koullouras-Double Bass-Vocals.

The Sunday JazzyBrunch lunchtime buffet is served between 1.30pm – 3.30pm in the Londa’s Caprice Restaurant on the first Sunday of February, April and May and on the second Sunday of March.
