The Jhiva of Nietzsche (in Greek)
“Jhiva” means the immortal part of us – that which lives before we are born and continues to live after we die. What does this ‘immortal’ part do while we go about our everyday lives?
The performance combines live action and multimedia, following the life of the famous philosopher Frederic Nietzsche through the eyes of his “Jhiva”. What would change in our lives if we could connect with this part of us which lives on after we are gone?
Theatro Transcendental concerns itself with themes and issues dealing with personal development, embodying them through theatrical action. The company fortifies this aim using a combination of artistic techniques such as music, dance, multimedia and art.
