A journey of opera
An international journey of opera through songs performed in English, German, Russian, Armenian, Italian, French and Czech, at Technopolis 20, on Saturday, 22nd of September 2018, at 8pm, with the soprano Anoki Von Arx and the soprano and pianist Zara Barkhoudarian.
The programme will include works by Handel, Gluck to Mozart, Verdi, Masgagni, Puccini, Catalanio the French Composers St Saens, Bizet, Russian and Armenian opera, with solos, duet’s.
An amazing run through the opera until mid-20th century, where the soprano Anoki Von Arx brings a fun element to the Opera. She explains about her arias and the Opera in such lyrical and magical way, that the audience can't cease to be mesmerized by her performance, combined with the excellent soprano and concert pianist Zara Barkhoudarian from Armenia.

A few words about the musicians
Anoki Von Arx: A lyrical artist that after an international dancing career devoted herself to opera singing. A rare soprano sfogato, her voice covers the entire spectrum from high and dramatic soprano to mezzo. For many years now she makes use of her fascinating stage presence for interdisciplinary productions, wanting to open she world of opera to a young public. In 2010, she started to combine opera singing with Break-dance, and Hip Hop, placing her timeless voice art in surprising contexts and creating productive contrast.
Zara Barkhoudarian was born in Yerevan, Armenia. She started piano lessons at the age of six at the Armenian Music School “Tchaikovsky” from where she graduated with high distinction. She continued her studies in the Conservator of Yerevan, majoring in piano, singing and choir conductor, from where she graduated with high distinction. At the age of 18 years she became the soloist of the Armenian State Tele Radio Choir with which she toured all over Europe and won numerous prizes and awards. Since 1995 Zara has been living in Cyprus. She performed in over 100 concerts all over the Island and abroad, and she continues to organize from 15 to 20 charity concerts per year.
