KaragkioZEIS everywhere!

«KaragkioZEIS everywhere!» is a project of the workshop of arts and theatre "Arts and Moods". In collaboration with several groups and organizations, various activities and events take place on the art of karagkiozis – shadow theater performances, art exhibitions, creative workshops, educational programs, musical evenings, theatrical performances, etc.

As a genuine character of folk and traditional art, Karagkiozis holds quality and ethos that has been a need for today's man of the "crisis". The humor, the substantial social satire, the collective spirit, the overturning of modern social stereotypes, the laughter and the self-sarcasm, are just a few of the elements that the art of Karagkiozis has to offer against the modern realities of Cyprus. So, I and I, you and you ... KaragkioZEIS everywhere! and always ... But mostly, we can KaragkioZOYME together!

Art exhibition

In collaboration with Π.χ., an exhibition occurs of artwork as well as installations on the art of Karagkiozis and the shadow theatre. The various materials and techniques come together with the figure and the tradition of Karagkiozis, on a journey of art which becomes a parallel journey through the history of shadow theatre. A very good opportunity for anyone who is either interested in artwork or for Christmas gifts.
