Katerina Theophanous - Explosion of the Soul
Katerina Theophanous was born in Famagusta. Due to the Turkish invasion in 1974 as a refugee, she moved with her family to London. There she studied Art & Design at Barnet College and then at the American College of London, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design.
Returning back to her beloved homeland in 1987, she got married and immediately started working at the largest factories in Cyprus as a fashion designer for 25 years.
However, she felt her passion pushed her back to painting. After two years of dedicatedly pursuing her love, she is now ready for her first solo art exhibition (Explosion of the Soul), which takes place on 4-6 November 2016 at the Culture Center of Saint Athanasios.
