The KEAN World of Orange

KEAN soft-drinks packagers launched the beginning of its 60th anniversary events to mark the company’s contribution to the drinks industry in Cyprus.

Celebrations will centre around the humble orange, which is the prime symbol of the company and the basis of its products.

This will be expressed through a series of exhibitions that will take place in all Cyprus towns under the title ‘The Kean World of Orange’, which will showcase 60 ceramic oranges that have been individually designed by sixty Cypriot and foreign artists.

Each orange has been transformed by each artist with his/her own personal mark. These works of art will be displayed throughout the year in exhibitions in all the districts.

In December, when the exhibition ends, the sixty designer oranges will be auctioned. The proceeds will go to Europa Donna Cyprus, the Ayios Stefanos Foundation and the Association of Child Welfare.
