Khirokitia. A Neolithic village 6000 years BC
“Khirokitia a Neolithic village before our era”, conference presented by Alain Lebrun (archaeologist responsible for the excavations on the archaeological site of Khirokitia between 1977 and 2011)
Research conducted on the important site of Khirokitia by the French mission, which followed the work of P. Dikaios, has yielded a rich documentation. Amongst the most important elements of this community village and illustrations of its culture, its architectural practices, crafts, economic and social organizations can be discussed. All these elements represent the evolution of the village of Khirokitia over the last millennia.
