The Kite Runner

In the 70's in Afghanistan, Amir and Hassan, who is his loyal friend and son of their servant Ali, are raised together in Amir's father house, playing and kiting on the streets of a peaceful Kabul. On a day that should be the most triumphant in both Amir and Hassan's young lives and one where Amir may finally receive the respect from his father he so craves, Amir witnesses an incident with Hassan that will forever change their lives. After spending years in California, Amir returns to his homeland in Afghanistan to help his old friend Hassan, whose son is in trouble.
