Kostas Spyropoulos
On Wednesday 7th November at 7:30pm, Morfi gallery in Limassol invites you to the new art exhibition of Kostas Spyropoulos. Opening night in the presence of the artist. Exhibition duration until 22 November.
Kostas Spyropoulos was born in Patras, Greece, in 1952 and graduated from the Medical School of Athens University. He subsequently travelled in the United States of America and in Europe for several years, during which time he studied art at the John Heron Art Institute in Indianapolis, USA.
He was an associate professor at the School of Fine Arts and of the Sciences of Art at the University of Ioannina from 2000 to 2008, teaching Visual Anatomy. Also, he is an associate professor at the School of Health Sciences of the University of Patras and a member of the chamber of Fine Arts of Greece.
Kostas Spyropoulos presented forty solo art exhibitions and took part in thirty nine group exhibitions around the world (Greece, Italy, France, Belgium, Turkey, Canada, and the USA to name a few). His works can be found at the National Art Gallery, the Vorres Museum, the Art Gallery of the island of Syros, the Municipal Gallery of Piraeus, the Vouros-Eftaxias Museum of the city of Athens, the House of the Actor, the Florence City Hall and in many private collections in Greece and abroad.
Two larges construction art works of Kostas Spyropoulos are located in the gardens of the University of Patras.
Kostas Spiropoulos is a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece and professor in Medical School of University of Patras.
