A Good Marriage (Le beau mariage)
The first of two film nights in the yard of Cynema Xanthis 3, in collaboration with the French Institute Nicosia and the Cultural Workshop Ayion Omologiton is a showing of the brilliant film "Le beau mariage" (1982), by the great director Eric Rohmer, from his Comedies & Proverbs films.
Starring: Béatrice Romand, André Dussollier, Féodor Atkine.
Story: Sabine, a student in art history, is growing tired of the part of the mistress of a painter and family man, Simon. She meets Edmond, beautiful, young, rich and free, and declares that she is going to marry him.
