Lefkara Lace: Art and Tradition
The lecture "Lefkara Lace: Art and Tradition", with speaker the researcher Androula Hadjigiasemi will present the lace embroidery of Lefkara.
Identified with the village of Lefkara, this unique lace embroidery with the flawless and high aesthetic form acquired great fame
in Cyprus and abroad.
Lefkara lace embroidery was included in UNESCO’S Intangible
Cultural Heritage List in 2009.
