Lions (Λιοντάρια)
Theatre AntiLogos presents the play Lions (Λιοντάρια) by Vasilis Mavrogeorgiou and Kostas Gakis, directed by Alexia Papazoglou.
The story revolves around the brief freedom experienced by four lions, who escape from Baghdad Zoo during the 2003 invasion of Baghdad by the U.S.-led coalition.
The play is based on the graphic novel "Pride of Baghdad" which in turn is based on a true story.
