Live Latin Jazz with Trio Smiles

Trio Smiles is the name of a group that it's mission is to combine any kind of melodies, harmonies and rhythms that had an influence to it's members through the years and with the freedom and hope to come out with something of their own .The trio formed in 2003 by Stelios Papazoglou on guitar, Andreas Rodosthenous on electric bass and Rodos Panagiotou on drums. This way the three of them are trying to influence their own music to come out with a character that suits and represents them individually and all together! It was in Rotterdam (the Netherlands) that Stelios, Andreas and Rodos met and started playing together. Rodos and Andreas used to play together for many years before, since they are both from Limassol, Cyprus. Stelios is from Kavala, Greece. All three of them studied in the Rotterdam's Conservatory. Trio Smiles! Played in Rotterdam, among other places, the White Elephant, in the “Doelen”, the “Dizzy Jazz café”, the “Zuid Plein Theater cafe” and also in the Haag in the “De Pater'' and in Amsterdam in different places, as well as other European cities. Of course they have been also touring for the last 5 years in Cyprus during the summers, which is a great place and time for inspiration.
