Madrigals & more (Winter Music Festival)
The Paphos Kidney Association and Paphos Music Lovers present the charity event “Winter Music Festival” in Paphos, with three recitals at Technopolis 20 and one at Agia Kyriaki Church, St. Paul's Pillar. All proceeds will be given for the purchase of a new dialysis machine for the Renal Unit at Paphos General Hospital.
Tuesday, 21st of November, 8pm, Technopolis 20, “MADRIGALS & MORE”
The festival will start on Tuesday, 21st of November, at 8pm, with the recital “MADRIGALS & MORE” at Technopolis 20, with the choirs ‘Tête-à-Tête’ and ‘Sine Nomine’. Their programme will include works by Dowland, Henry VIII, Gibbons, Mendelssohn, Vaughan Williams.
‘Tête-à-Tête’ is a group of six singers from the UK who love singing and have experience of being choir members in Cyprus and in the UK. ‘Sine Nomine’ was established in 2015 from a group of experienced singers wanting to form a small a capella choir. Their aim was to enjoy singing, whilst working to improve technique, tuning and blend.
